Allison Transmission 1000 2000 Overhaul
The Allison 1000 & 2000 two day ILT Overhaul course focuses on the overhaul resources and procedures.
Prerequisites: Techs must successfully complete the following prior to starting the 1000 2000 Overhaul Course:
- 1000 & 2000 Product Families Maintenance Technician Web-Based Training
- 1000 & 2000 Product Families Maintenance Technician ILT
- 1000 & 2000 Product Families Overhaul Technician Web-Based Training
Course Objectives Include:
- Access and use publications and special tools necessary for overhauling Allison 1000 & 2000 Product Families Transmissions
- Successfully disassemble the transmission
- Perform inspections and measurements and make appropriate determination as to individual component condition
- Use the Parts Catalog to identify appropriate part numbers for components being replaced
- Successfully assemble the transmission including performnig necessary measurements
